Reviewing games, one by one.
Well that’s how it started anyway. Me and a couple of friends decided a few months back that we would start reviewing computer games. Harmless as it was to begin with, I then ended up buying a podcast kit and video capture hardware which set me back a fair amount. This would have all been fine and acceptable however, when it came to recording, we didn’t exactly know what to say. We tried various means of recording, scripted/semi-scripted/free flow, but nothing seemed to work that well.
When I created the intro for the episodes, I secretly made a rushed introduction episode by myself and found it worked much better. It wasn’t so much that my friends were bad at casting their opinion effectively, it was more the chaos in the room which led to awkward silences and scripted-like sections.
This episode was uploaded to YouTube and has had over 100 views. For our first video we thought this was pretty amazing considering uploading to YouTube is not something we had even considered at the beginning. WE feel we could have had more feedback if we pushed the project further but the spark died temporarily and the project seemed to follow.
But now, with new influence and ambition. Project Sack It To Me is back (well it’s being talked about!). Thinking of using the idea for either a Dungeons & Dragons Role-play or a group reviewing of computer games. Look forward to fresh faces and ideas if (and hopefully when) Sack It To Me arises in the near future.
Here’s the first episode for your viewing pleasure. (Turn up your speakers!)

Brief Overview
Sack It To Me is my own attempt at an online game review show. I used the characters from LittleBigPlanet to emit an element of cuteness and playfulness in the episodes.
The episodes were to last 2-3 minutes and reviewed a single game each. During these reviews, the Sack It To Me ‘House’ was explored and reviewing was spoken from the characters point of view.
